I was born in 1952 in the city of Kamensk-Uralsky. In 1956, my family moved to Bratsk, Siberia. I took my first shot on June 12, 1957. My father gave me his camera, a "Zorki" – a Leica clone, and I photographed my parents. A few years ago, my brother sent me my father's negatives, and I found that first shot. Since then, I have my own "photography day." I've been taking pictures all my life – from my school years to the present day. I have several digital cameras and many film ones. Despite all the wonders of digital photography, film has never lost its charm for me.

Three men smiling and taking a selfie together in black and white.

With Iggy Pop and my friend and producer Sergey Smolin

Two men standing outdoors, smiling. One man holds a camera, and the other holds a book with a photo of a long-haired musician. The man with the book gives a thumbs-up. Both are dressed casually, wearing glasses, with the man on the right having a long white beard and wearing a hat and sunglasses.
